THE VELUX FOUNDATION

2017 Gitta Foldberg. Designer behind a collection of scarves and ties for THE VELUX FOUNDATION.

Villum Kann Rasmussen founded THE VELUX FOUNDATION and the ”V” in his distinctive signature has formed the basis for the pattern in the specially designed scarves and ties. ”V” for Villum, VELUX and ”vindue”, the Danish word for window. The tones of blue and gray are from the foundations` colour range, and the unique collection has been developed for THE VELUX FOUNDATIONS by textile designer Gitta Foldberg. In the production and manufacturing process of the collection, emphasis has been placed on environmental considerations and sustainability as well as support Danish business.
